212QBW asnf SurgeGuard hardwire

Anyone install a SurgeGuard 30 amp hardwire in a 212QBW? I'm looking at installing one but the area it would go in is very tight and instructions say it must be wall mounted.

Check it out here:

Surge Guard 30A Hardwire with Optional LCD Display | Technology Research, LLC

Hardwired in, protects against surges, over and under voltages. Protects AC wiring and electronics (tv, ac, microwave, furnace, converter, etc).
