23FB Installing Larger TV

I have a 23FB and want to replace the existing flat screen TV with a larger one 32 to 39 inches. The position would be just above the dinette so that I wouldn't need to reposition the thermostat. The bathroom/shower stall is on the other side of the wall and there doesn't seem to be much support for mounting a TV bracket. I was wondering if anyone has come up with a way to do this. Thank you for any ideas.

Today's LCD-LED TV's are pretty light.

I would build a wood frame, mount it to the wall with moly's and attach the TV mount to the frame.

Be careful drilling into the wall.

I would buy a removable TV mount, so the TV could be taken off the wall when traveling to minimize any stress on the wall mount.

Lookup MOLLY MOUNTs on the internet. This is a very good method to attach a frame 1x4 board across a section of your RV wall.. The MOLLYs will open up inside you wall and give you a very strong frame mount without screwing something into a metal or wood inside wall joints.

There is also a spring wing mount. The MOLLY mount is superior as you can remove the screw after they have been installed and the mount will stay in place. If you remove the screw in a spring wing nut it will drop behind the wall...

Once you get the required 1x4 board up you can paint it to match your paint scheme as required...

Search internet for "Wall mount MOLLYs" and then open in IMAGE mode on-line… Lots of pictures...

Once the new wall support board is in place then you can purchase the required TV SET wall mounts from WALMART-LOWES or almost any hardware store...
