We have a 2013. Great for the 2 of us, and enough room for kids and grandkids when they go with us.

Thanks!
I’m thinking two youngest can share and it’s a big space to play for them. And for the most part they can’t roll off while sleeping. Youngest would be on the bottom (not putting the baby on the top) my parents main concern is the dealer. And some places won’t do warranty work if you don’t buy from them.

Thought of separate bunks but wonder if they’d put Grown them or if giving them a door is a good idea (can’t watch them lol) ages 6,3 and 1

We have a 2016.
Love it. Nothing we don't like about ours. ESPECIALLY love the shower.
We did put a fan in each of the bunks to help the kids keep cooler on hot nights, the A/C does the job but the air just don't get back into the bunk areas.
2- mid teen girls on the top bunk and a 13 year old son on the bottom.

May I ask where you purchased/service yours? And do you like your dealer and service? I’ve been looking for recommendations

I thought it was somewhat obvious (as did 'tcloilburner) in your original post when you stated "Looking at a 2018" that you were looking for 28BHBE insight/feedback.

Oh, welcome to JOF!

Love ours. Downside is it is LONG when towing but love the space when it opens up. You will probably want to look at some of the mods several of us did to the front bed and look at closing up some draft problems.

In a campground in Utah my wife and I walked around and saw 2 more in the campground. Popular model.....

Fans were purchased at Walmart. Tapped them into the wiring running to the bunk lights.
Installed them myself.

Dealer was Gayle Kline in Mountville. Any warranty work I had done was done at CW here in Harrisburg as it is only a 7 minute drive from my house (near Linglestown) instead of the 50 minute to 1 hour drive to Gayle Kline. Gayle Kline (Bob was the salesman) was good to deal with.
Otherwise, I do my own work. (So far).

I also installed a Micro-Air Soft Start and can run my AC from 1 2000 watt Yamaha Inverter Generator.

That’s where we saw it. Jerry was the salesman.

Gulp* CW = Camping World?
Gayle Kline is actually pretty close to us

Yep and we love it. Get tons of compliments when people step inside. They like how it is taller and how big the bathroom/shower is. We have the 76 Gal fresh water tanks so that is a bonus as we do camp at a lot of state parks that are electric only.

We liked the layout and plenty of room for our teen/pre-teen kids. We augment not having an outside kitchen with a folding table and a dorm fridge. Plus you can walk through the entire camper with the slide in! No more putting the slide out just to stock the kitchen.

Drawbacks-
- Yes, it is long (35 ft hitch to bumper) and can be a pain to park
- Small grey water holding tank. They should have made that thing bigger given the amount of water it holds.
- Most are still have the aluminium skin. But I've seen others with fiberglass. Cuts down on cost. But they put all the $ on the interior trim which makes it worth it.

Bought ours from Haylett RV in Coldwater, Michigan. They have a great video.

Good luck!
