No, if it’s been a small leak and you don’t have major damage or mold then you just need to find the leak and seal it. Rule of thumb is check the roof seams for leaks every year. I do it every six months at least. Water can travel long distances and sometimes even uphill a little. So go on the roof and inspect every single seam, antenna mount, AC flange under the plastic cover, skylight, fridge vent....if it goes through the roof inspect it’s condition. Dicor (the gooey white stuff you’ll see up there) has a tendency to age and crack. If it looks like it might be, go over it with some new Dicor or Eternabond tape. Seal that thing up, every screw, every seam, if water can get in seal it up or pay the price down the road!
