Access Attic Space

Does anyone know how to drop ceiling panels to access ductwork or attic space? Are there previous threads about this topic? Thanks

I believe the panels extend over on top of the walls, cabinets, etc; thus most of them cant be "removed". There isnt much of an attic, just an insulation space with wiring, ductwork, etc running through it. Most likely the entire "attic" is packed solid with foam insulation.

Normally you remove and pull down the individual component you are interested in (light, speaker...).

Dropping ceiling panels is not easy. They are installed prior to the cabinet installation.

I have accessed my attic, via removing the internal trim around the AC, roof vent and skylight.

Good Luck!

Not sure what you are trying to do but I agree with the others dropping the panels is not really an option. I snaked wires through that space but the roof trusses gave me some trouble. I dropped all the lights and speakers and just reached up and guided the snake over the obstructions.

I forgot, I too had to pull a few lights to help fish some wires.
