Tied into the power running to the light with some taps.
Put some spade connectors incase I need to disconnect it at some point.
Didn't have to cut the trim at all.
Runs like a champ! Ran the self leveling sealant around the top and it's done. Huge improvement with it running and keeps the front area from feeling like a cave with the sun coming in now due to the smoke cover.
The vent cover I got is the wrong one for this vent. I got the maxxair 2 and it doesn't fit. I'll have to order the right one.
