Awning leaking

Anyone have awning leaking between trailer and led strip? If so what did you do to fix? Thanks for any help.

It leaks when the awning is open? Or do you only notice the accumulation of water when you unroll the awning after it has been sitting for a while?

It leaks when rolled up leaking down side of trailer in-between awning and trailer behind LED light strip.

When my awning is extended and it's raining hard (I always slope it sideways for run-off) there is a slow leak through the stitching. It sort of seeps through and drips. I might try some seam sealer. It is also right below a joint in the gutter, which may need some caulking applied.

The seams / stitching leaked on our awnings.

I put VLP Leather and Vinyl Repair on all awning seams / stitching and it stopped the leaking. It worked great.

We have 2 awnings and I ended up using 2 tubs of the VLP.

You can get it on Amazon, or at Lowe's, Walmart, Home Depot etc.
