backup camera install

I have a 2015 Jayco jayflight 23rb and I want to install a backup camera. Where is the best place to mount the camera and can i just drill thru the siding to attach. I also understand I can receive power from the running lights. Any advice will be greatly welcomed

Hi there Medina, I'm down here in Jackson Township close to Massillon.
I have a 267 BH I installed my wireless rear view camera just below the center marker light. I drilled a 1" hole to run the wire. Pulled the marker light out to access the writing. I also contacted the dealer to get a scematic of the framing.
You want to make sure you seal up around light and camera. I used a rubber grommet from Ace to keep wires from getting rubbed bare.
You will find plenty of others in the forums that have install rear cameras. Some will have pictures. Check on trailer life online.
