Black tank hose inside

I have a RLS 265. In side where my city water and black tank flush is coming in from the outside, there is a valve of some sort leaking very little inside my camper. I will post a picture of it. Wondering if I need to change it. Thanks in advance.

Tighten, then replace. I've never had a leak that healed itself. Water is the enemy.

It’s leaking out the top. Not around the fittings.

That is a vacuum breaker / check valve. Very prone to failure. If it's leaking from the top it will eventually just let go and flood the trailer.

Wow. That’s terrible. I should be “ok” if I don’t use the black tank flush right?

There’s a recent post in the Hybrid section all about this. “Black tank flush flooding bathroom “

If you can, you can rig up a "bypass" and remove that breaker all together if you want to flush the tank. Some folks remove them entirely and install a simple check valve in its place. What it does is prevent back flow of "blackwater" and keeps it from contaminating your fresh water supply. Chances of that happening are very slim anyway. I am proactively deleting mine from the whole equation to prevent a disaster. I will go with a standard check valve in its place.

I would delete any of that white pipe and replace with shark bite fittings and solid pex or add a cut off valve and add a supply line to the device.

You can add a separate water inlet for the black tank flush with a check valve built in.

If I would replace the white pipe, it looks like I would have to take the cabinet apart. I will replace it with a check valve when I return home.

That white hose is clamped on with a pex clamp and used in a pex fittings. I had the same hose on my water pump and I never could get it to stop leaking you may have better luck than me though. That’s what I removed it from my setup.
