bumper drag guards

our jayco didn't come with those triangle drag guards on the frame so you don't have to worry about dragging your bumper or sewer connectors. can we add those to out 2018 264BH.
thank you

I imagine any competent welder could add a couple of "wheelie skids" for you, for a lot less that it might cost to have them retrofitted by, say, a dealer.

i have a hitch welded on to the frame i wonder of one like this would be enough not to drag black and gray water connectors? https://www.etrailer.com/Skid-Wheels...48-979020.html

If I was going to add anything it would be a couple fixed casters, and reinforcement. All done at a welding shop.

Now I have never been convinced those "Bumper Drag Bars" are really for protecting your tail end if you drag. 1st off they are way to light weight. They will never hold up to any type of drag force. I fully suspect what they really are, is to assist in stacking the trailer frames for transport from the fab shop to the TT manufactures shop. They need to balance the TT frame, and pinch then down to each other for a secure stacked load.

I delivered trailers / frames as a side job for a while. You are right - we always had some type of "pocket" for when we stacked.
