buyer beware COLA...lol

So I purchased a Bluetooth hitch plug to make it quicker to do a electric rear brake connection to the trailer. Rv center in Indian had one for $299. Of course I did not think to check the internet, besides we have to help them too or they go out of business and that does not help us.

So in a different State the next day and what do I see at another Rv center (not the same dealer, both are stand alone dealers not a chain)...they same item for only $240...$60 less then I paid yesterday. Talk about a cost of living ‘adjustment’ change lol. Unreal it seems but guess shopper beware.

Well, in may case, i have a 4 pin coming off the Toyota Highlander. Those wires will need to feed into the back of a plug then i am suppose to also feed a hot wire with, they suggest with a resetable inline fuse, to the back of that plug. The other side of that plug is 7 pin. Next you download an app from the vendor site then set it up to pair then select a ‘brake’ (for lack of a better word) strength you want to use (sort of a dial graphic and you just use your finger i infer to change setting). I have not set it up yet. Doubt this dealer will have time tomorrow though will ask, don’t know what internal thing is in the device to know when suv brakes though guy said they work great. Maybe made Curt vendor, will post a picture tomorrow. In bed now. Just did a search, here is a link, might be the same item i got.
