Crushed Lime Stone

Is crushed lime stone a good foundation to put down for my trailer to live in?

They recommend boards under the tires when on gravel long term.

My rv's have been on it for the last 25 years and haven't had any problems.

Yes.

And maybe cover the area with heavy tarp or other material prior to rock delivery, to keep future weed and grass growth minimal.

If you ever have an area you cant seem to grow grass in no matter what you try; just put a gravel driveway there and you will have grass in no time!
