Flex Seal

I'm getting ready to touch up the caulking on the roof of my 2012 Jayco again. I used that Dicor Lap Sealant stuff in the past. a friend just did his RV but he used Flex Seal. I guess most of you have seen it on TV where they cut a boat in half and use this stuff to put it back together and it has no leaks. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here has used it and how it turned out

That's a no no. Only use DICOR sealants, tape or ETERNABOND tape.

Thank you for the reply. I haven't used it on mine but thought it looked like a good idea. I didn't know how the rubber roof material would react. i have 2 tubes of the DICOR sealant ready to apply.

Eternabond (called SticknBond now I think) is good stuff. Kind of a "fire and forget" product.

I would use it on my trailer if I decide to turn it into a boat. Otherwise probably not.

I'm going with Eternabond. Stuff is pricey, and god help you if you stick it to something by accident, but I think it's a great investment.

Lol.. yeah. I sat on a length of it once that was sticky side up. A chunk of my pants are still glued on that campers roof. Good stuff.
