Floor joist

We have a brand new 2022 Jayco jayflight. Brought it in for some warranty work. We also noticed a bad squeak in the floor we wanted checked. Long story short, in order to correct the problem they have to bring up our floor and fix the joists that are incorrect. They called Jayco’s warranty department and were told that they would not cover this issue on our brand new camper!! $5000 price tag on the repair! This is shoddy workmanship and should be covered! Who is it that I can contact in order to make this right. Unbelievably angered by the lack of assistance through Jayco!

Usually the cross members are completely accessible from below unless over a tank.. However here's what you are looking for. Sounds like it may be a seam in the plywood squeaking.

A good dealer would take care of the problem.

It doesn't cost $5000 to fix a squeak. You need a new dealer.

Sounds like the dealer doesn't want to start down the road of minor attempts that may or may not work and just shifted the blame to Jayco.
