Floor joists

Will the standard stud finder locate the metal floor joists in my Eagle ?

I do not know if you email Jayco they will email the schematics for the floor! I have the one for the 16 Eagle 321 RSTS.

It should but the heat ducts are under the floor as well and they're sheet metal. Not to mention other stuff too. You may get a false reading. My finder was made for wood and metal studs. That may be a requirement.

I saw a Youtube video where a person was using a magnet to locate them. Obviously wouldn't work if they were aluminum, but I thought it was interesting.

Depends upon the Stud Finder. Some have a deep setting that checks for wires, metal etc. If you do this, measure from both sides so you can assure you are scanning a stud on not a bundle of wires. 2x on the schematics.
