Freshwater system

My 2017 Jay Flight SLX has begun to leak near the fresh water fill opening. Overflow? Our owners manual is too generic. I think my tank fills off of the city water supply and I can't figure out how to not fill tank. Is there a valve? Where? Where is my fresh water drain valve? My goal is to not fill the fresh water tank when hooked up to city water and know how the system works - diagram would be nice.

Freshwater system

I have a 2017 SLX and there is a fill connection for the FW tank on the entry side of the trailer. If you overfill the FW tank it would be flowing at the same point as the FW fill connection, just under the trailer. There should be a check valve that prevents filling the FW tank when connected to city water because mine does not fill the FW tank when connected to city water. I guess a good way to check to see if its overfilling is to overfill it with the FW tank fill connection and make sure the water comes out of the same spot. If thats the case, you probably have a leaking/nonexistent check valve. Good luck finding it, its never fun when you buy something new and it doesnt work right or comes with really crappy directions. Also the drain valve for the FW tank is just below the FW tank fill connection about 8" deep under the trailer.
