HEated water hose - can you use two

We purchased a 50ft HEated water hos but it’s not long enough to reach the water port on the trailer. Has anyone hooked two together with the second one plugged into an extension cord? Will this work?

Should as long as you insulate the connection and don't cover the thermostat.

Yes...., but don't coil any excess length hose while in use.
