how do I remove valance

Have a 2011 Jay Flight 22fb. One of the accordion blinds in bedroom has dropped. Has no tension. I can't get to the blind without taking the valance down. impossible to get inside the valance to see how to take it off the wall! HELP! I think blind may have a broken string.

Do this gently.... try to push the left side of the valance to to left and lift up. If this does not work, do the same on the right side. If still no go, try to push either end upwards. Be very careful!

If you have just lost tension on the pleated shade, it’s an easy fix. There should be a round ‘button’ that the shade string wraps around at the bottom of the window. Simply loosen the screw that goes thru the button, turn the button in the direction to put more tension on the string and tighten the screw. Be careful not to strip it out. Your done.
If the string is in fact broken, do a search on You Tube. It’s not complicated & you can buy replacement string on Amazon cheap.
