I hate my Jayco........

In my signature you will see I have a 2013 Eagle 314BDS....

I hate it because:

Right now,
It is sitting in the back yard and I cannot use during this Covid-19.
It is collecting dirt and I want to clean it, but why if I can't use it.
When I do wash it, who is going to see it?
I am still making payments on something I can't use.

There are many more reasons as you can image, BUT

I am joking. I see so many threads bashing Jayco and specifically some certain models, so I figured I would through a curveball and let let everyone know there is a reason why I have had this TT for the last 7 years. I LOVE IT!!

We all know repairs are needed from time to time.
We all know these things are on wheels and not a stationary HOUSE.
We all know you may need to use warranty or pay for repairs as needed, MUCH LIKE A HOUSE.

Good Luck to all and please enjoy your purchase and make beautiful and long lasting memories!!!!

Camp out in the yard, play the bigfoot audio from the ohio tapes outside all night and make in a stay at home adventure. [emoji16]

I am kinda the same way. Our state only at the beginning of the month opened the State Parks. I have been out only once this year. Originally we planned to get out a lot this year, and starting way earlier than usual.

I do get to go tent camping with the boy scouts soon .

Feeling it. We bought our first RV in February and it hasn't moved since we got it home - except for a trip to the shop for a suspension upgrade. It's an old one so I have been puttering around and fixing things while waiting.

I too am very happy with my 26BH.

Yes I've used Dicor, greased the bearings, replace the water heater, and the tires, fought ants and mice, replaced the split floor, the cheap radio, the ceiling fans, plus many more little things.

I also like no payments (great deal buying used in the dead of winter). I could probably sell it now for more than I paid 4 years ago based on what is for sale around here.

Yes it is older, but not a relic. Serves us very well considering we use it for sleeping. It doesn't bother me having it sit in the yard if we don't use it.

It is so much better than the old popup we used to have.

Have fun, stay safe and enjoy.

Love my 2016 28BHBE.
the few problems I saw at the PDI were resolved promptly.
Just before the warranty ran out. Hot water board went kaput. Got the ok from Jayco to have a local repair shop fix it since local shop is 8 minutes away and dealer is 1 hour.
After 4 years, the cheap China Bomb Rainer tires went bad and replaced them with Good Year Endurance. Hang wheel bearings checked and greased last year.
Very few issues. Love my Jayco 28BHBE.
Tomorrow, heading out for 2 week trip.
By the way. Corona virus hasn't stopped us. My niece and her family have a private campground and we have been there 5 separate long weekends so far.

Been happy with my 2 Jaycos I’ve owned. I read recently that your level of serenity is inversely proportional to your expectations.

It’s an RV. I expect it to have issues here and there. When it does, I just flood this board with silly questions, figure it out and go on about my day. Working on it is part of the hobby.

Just to add, serenity is also directly related to your level of self sufficiency. I have always felt for people who attempt to own an RV without some ability to tackle at least basic repairs on their own.
