If you don’t have an onboard one, get an in-line water filter like the blue Camco torpedo type. A flexible “L” connector also helps relieve pressure on the inlet port. Others: Clear elbow for sewer connection, Gorilla tape, double-sided tape, chemical of choice for black tank treatment, coax cable hooking up to cable connection at pedestal, and chain/cable and/or padlock to secure your pricey EMS to the power post.

Being you're a first time buyer, negotiate some of the above items to be thrown into the deal free. At the very least, a decent "starter kit". It'll have some inexpensive basic essentials in it, that'll get you going.

Andersen Leveler

An Andersen Leveler has made my life so much easier! My #1 recommendation.

Lots of good recommendations, so far.
You might find that some campgrounds 30Amp power receptacles are in pretty poor condition due to lots of use. Some of them will have "pristine" 50Amp receptacles next to those clapped out 30Amp receptacles. A 50Amp to 30Amp power adapter cord would be nice to have in that situation.

All things above and a fuse box kit that covers all the fuses in your TT. You can get a very inexpensive kit off Amazon or at Harbor Freight. Make sure that it includes 40 amp fuses.

Specifically an EMS (Electrical Management System) that also protect from wiring faults, high and low voltage and not just surges. About $350. So important to us that we have two, with one as an immediate spare.

A high limit, widely accepted credit card, and some cash.

Funny, my wife usually carries that stuff for me...

Other than a positive attitude, most of the other necessities, and niceties have been mentioned already...

Previous poster mentioned fuses, I also carry a spare set of breakers that go in our inverter. Ours are an odd ball size so finding them on the road could be a problem.

Andersen hitch, no sway, easy on/off and light and simple.

Print off a couple of these prior to a long trip or maybe just when backing up.
