Jayco slideout adjustment

How do I adjust rv slideout on 2013 Jayco jayflight 28bhs? The warranty has expired and three different rv techs said it can't be adjusted. I read on a post by Crabman that the adjustment is under the couch when addressing an issue (same issue I am having re tilt of slide at upper one corner) of another person who had pics exactly like my problem. Can you guide me through the process? Thx

I can't speak for your adjustment specifically but I adjusted the slide on mine without issue. It took longer to get the tools out than to do the job.

Probably easier than a description is a Google search. There are quite a few how-to videos on YouTube and a number of walk-throughs with photos and step-by-step instructions on various other sites that come up right away in a search.

The 28BHS has a small sofa slide, the mechanism and adjustments are under the sofa. My slide was lower on one side then the other when retracted. Its been several years since I made the adjustment, but I remember loosening the bolts on the bracket (which has elongated holes for up and down adjustment) on the slide and jacking up the low side of the slide gently with a floor jack until level (from inside the trailer with slide retracted), then tightening the bolts again. That was for my particular situation, I did not have any issues with seals not sealing or visible light coming in around the slide seals so your adjustment needs may be different. Disclaimer-I am by no means an RV tech or expert, I just examined the situation and figured out the solution without a trip to the dealer.
