Leak...gotta peel back the underbelly

My jayco has an enclosed underbelly...tarp like material

well...there is a leak above it...I suspect in the city water connection line

it first leaked into the bathroom cabinet under the sink...then it started dripping from the underbelly enclosure (stopped leaking in cabinet)

it looks like it dissolved a bit of this enclosure as there are black gooey drippings on the grey valve

this is clean water dripping...no odor...
when I turned off pressurized water, drip stopped
with emptied grey and black tanks, it still dripped until I turned pressurized water off

so I plan on connecting home water hose...once it starts dripping, cut the enclosure to find leak...fix leak or replace line...

and then how to fix underbelly enclosure?
duct tape?
can I buy this material, some adhesive, and patch it?

anyone do anything similar?? what did you do

Many have used black Gorilla Tape.

If you have patience and time you can peal back the bottom to get to what you need to see then just put it back. I had to find a place to drill the frame to attach a spare tire carrier to the bottom. There are many self taping screws that hold the bottom up. I undid a bunch of screws in the area I was working on then worked the material away from the I beam. Did what I had to do and put it back just the way it was....

Another idea is to get a piece of black coroplast and just use it as a patch over the cut area. It can be attached using self tapping screw with a washer head.

It's available at many home stores. You may have to do a little searching to find the black color.
