Lippert axel

2016 23 mrb jayco whitehawk.
3000 lb dual axel.
Checking bearnings, first one was bad.
My local Timken source closed down. Research found not all Timken are usa made any more, china is one source!!!!
Question...what make of bearing do I use now, and more important what size? Numbers are worn but I can read CHINA.
Searched this site to no avail. Searched i'net with about the same results.
Searched lippert, they don't even list a 3k axel?
Help, please...

You probably already have the part numbers (not showing as a "set" number), but here's what I came up with. See if they match what you have. These may be Timken's NTN China bearings.

LM11949 cup and LM11910 cone (outer)
LM29749 cup and LM29710 cone (inner)

The National number for the seal should be 442251. This is a single lip seal. I don't see a variable for a double lip. There may not be space on the sealing surface for a double lip seal.

Thanks for the help..
FINALLY got someone at Lippert, I was getting so many different answers from bearing sellers and 5he internet.
For my Lippert 3k axel the numbers are:
Outer bearing - L44649
Outer race - L44610
Inner bearing - L68149
Inner race - L68111
Grease seal - 47336
These happen to be Timken numbers.
Now on a good note: I can buy a complete set (4 wheels) for $ 200.00 and do work myself,OR, remove and let selling trailer shop do all the work for $200.00, then reinstall myself. It's like getting the r&r for free!!
Now I just have to figure out how to crib tt to be able to take all 4 at the same time, shop is about 5 miles away.
Now would be the time to get the tires rebranded.
Life is good,

The shop that I use has room beside the service bays for me to pull into. I give them new seals and clean bearings and races.
They return the old, dirty parts.
Works like a charm and everyone is happy.

I'm surprised at the numbers. Those are the same as what I bought for our 3500k axles. Amazon has them all for $111.52 plus tax and (maybe) shipping.

I gave the Lippert gal the model and serial number on the axel.
Surprisingly 2k to 7k axels use the same bearnings. Lippert, Dexter, and al-ko are the same.

In trying to figure out axel size and bearing numbers i ran across some interesting stuff.
If there are no labels on axel one can determine what size axel you PROBABLY have.
Number of wheel lugs and tube diameter. I thought this interesting. I have five lugs and 2 3/8 inch tubes, all leading to 3.5k lb axels, NOT, 3k axels.
I never found a listing for 3k axels and Lippert didn't even acknowledge their existence.
So, do I have 3k or 3.5k axels?? I do know I'm running 3.5k bearings. Install went flawless.
