Lippert slide actuator

Received our 2021 267BHS last December. Last weekend went to retract the slide and nothing but the sound of the motor running. Found the motor shaft is running but the shaft attached to slide isn't retracting. Turns out there is a cheesy little plastic retaining clip loose inside the slide end of the Lippert actuator that ends up snapping to the end of the motor shaft keeping a threaded block attached to the slide out part of the acuator. After much discussion and investigation a tech ran the slide shaft portion in so it bottomed out reattaching the clip. Dealer tried getting help from Lippert and Jayco and neither understood what dealer was asking. Dealer said they have never seen this happen, lucky me. Now everytime we use the slide the fear is there. Luckily it was in my yard, but never at a campground yet. First trip this weekend.

Maybe it was loose and just let go.

Lippert actuator

Went camping last weekend and when it came time to pull in the slide on the 267bhs all we heard was the motor running. Long story short pulled out slide drive, wrenched in slide and ratchet strapped it tight. Next day wife had one pice of bad actuator and I had the other . Dealer put in a rush order for replacement. Other than antenna not working 1st trip out was great.

Wife's Dream - Sorry about trouble with your slide. We have used the same slide for 4 years now with no problem, lucky us. First round with dealer sounds like the teacher (dealer), could not clarify the situation well with the students (Lippert/Jayco) properly. Had teachers like this all thru school LOL. Sounds like your on the right track now. Good luck.
