New 330RSTS ???

Good morning/afternoon/evening/night (Trying to cover all the bases of when this might be read)

DW and I went to look at a 330RSTS this afternoon and well .......................

So now, I am wondering if our current TV is capable of towing it. We've got a 2015 F250 CC SB 4WD with 6.7, 2 1/2 inch receiver.

We've currently have a Cougar 33RES and the 330RSTS is a bit heavier & longer.

Thank you in advance for any thoughts

Mark

It will be fine. You may need to help the rear suspension as it will probably squat a bit. Seems that generation F250 sits low in the rear in stock form.

We have The trailer in my sif. Currently the hitch weight is 1550 pounds and we are planning to put a combo washer dryer in the front of it. That will bring the hitch weight up to approximately 1700 pounds. You may want to look into the hitch you have now and possibly going to the Blue Ox with 2000 pound bars. it works fine for me. It’s a really nice trailer, good luck with your decision.

We have a 2017 330RSTS and when ours is loaded, our tongue weight is a bit over 1600#. Where I found issues with my setup were not with how much my TV can tow, or even in CCC, but rather in the woefully low rating of not only my 1400# Equalizer WDH but with the OEM receiver on my 2015 GMC 2500HD

On our 2015 GMC 2500HD, our receiver was only rated at 1500# tongue weight with or without a WDH, so not only did I go with the Blue Ox BXW2003 for underslung couplers rated at 2000#, I upgraded the receiver on the GMC to one with a 2400# rating.

Yep you will have no problem just make sure your hitch can handle it, what you might do is use the one you have hook it to the TT and see how that one work. Congrats!

Thank you

Due to other items in our itinerary for the next several weeks we have decided to wait until maybe this fall for doing anything.

Again thanks for the replies.
