New RV owner questioning whether or not to cover

Hi all, new to the forum. We live in Florida and just purchased a new 2021 Jayco 264BH and are wondering whether or not we should purchase a cover for it. I would appreciate your input and I am sure we will be asking more questions as we go along, thank you.

Struckrk,

Welcome to JOF

I live in Michigan and have never covered any of my TT's over the decades without incident. Now, living in Florida there may be some advantages in doing so (increased UV exposure).

Heres a recent JOF thread on the same subject:

Although it doesn't get as hot here in middle Georgia as it does in Florida it does get hot, in the south the sun will do a lot of damage to your roof. I learned that on a previous TT, I now keep both of ours under a rv shelter, 31x20. I pull one in forward and back the other in so both doors will be on the outside.
