New TV WDH setup

I replaced my gasser Ram 2500 with a Sierra 2500HD. Looking for tips on setting up the WDH, I was leaving two links hanging on the WDH on the old TV. TIA!

Jeff,

WDH adjustment characteristics (WDH chain links under tension, etc.) very with one's loading habits, brand/model WDH, and TV/TT combinations..., even comparing with same TV's and/or TT's.

Many folks use the WDH adjustment method (fender height measurements) included with the installation/adjustment documentation supplied with your WDH...., this will get you in the ball park. If you don't have the documentation, the manufactures' web site should have them.

If you want to dial-in your WDH then a trip to the CAT scale is the only way to accomplish this (with TV/TT under loaded conditions). The CAT scale data will help you optimize the performance of the WDH and TV handling......, especially during less then ideal towing conditions.
