Observation camera

Ok I know this’s like beating a dead horse but, honestly I still need one more bit of information.i got the wires out , see pic below, which is hot and which is ground for the camera ? ,and does the clearance /running lights have to be on or is it hot all the time.this a pre wired Jayco 23RB 2017

You really need to verify hot and ground with a multimeter or test light. Clearance lights only come on with your vehicle light switch to get powered.

Hmmm,, that’s why I was asking about the running lights be having to be on because with my test light I’m not getting no current. Thanks

Observation camera

Put a blade fuse in your 7 way plug across the top two slots. Your running lights will come on without needing to plug into the truck.

If I were to guess, I would guess the white is positive and red is negative but a volt meter would eliminate the need for guessing

Tom, that’s what I needed. Getting my truck out of the garage and backing it through my RV gate is a pain and I didn’t want to do it. Thank You.
