Plumbing sanititizing question

I am going on my 2nd year with a 2017 23RLSW. We bought this the latter part of summer last year and only got out 3 times. My question is this, does the entire system need to be sanitized every year? So far we have always had full hookups and have not dry camped / boondocked. Also, should the potable water hose also be treated every year?

It is recommended the entire system be sanitized every year but if you are like us and use the city water connection at the CG every time, then I say skip the fresh water tank and try this short cut.

You can sanitize the just the supply lines just as simply as you winterize. By-pass your water heater, draw in a bleach solution with the winterzation siphon tube with your water pump (should take about 2 gallons), let that solution sit 12 hours then flush it out with clean water using the winterization pick-up tube again.

Following the directions of Iraqvet05, the proper laundry beach concentration is 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of bleach per 15 gallons of water (50 to 100ppm of chlorine). So, one ounce of bleach would go with just under 4 gallons of water to get the higher concentration.
