Power Jack 2014 Flight 26BH

Is it hard to replace the power jack?

Some screws/bolts screws and a couple wires. Hardest part is you have to support the tongue while changing it out. You can hitch it up with your TV slightly in the way, or support with jack stands.

No, it's easy.

I just dropped the trailer on my trucks ball. Then took the power wire from the battery. Then removed 3 bolts holding the jack to the frame.

I then just reverse the above procedure. You just have to make sure there is a good ground connection between the new jack and the frame. That's where the ground takes place. There isn't a separate wire from the jack to the frame for grounding.

The last time I had to replace a tongue jack, the three bolts that hold it to the tongue were badly seized. If yours are stuck, heat them up with a torch and they should come out easier.
