Propane Detector

Yeah I once used hand sanitizer on the floor right in front of the detector to clean up spilled raw meat liquid and the thing went off for several minutes. Seeing as it was after midnight and we pulled in to the site so late we were trying to be quiet .
Oh well, so much for that. And yes, a well aimed fart can also set off a detector. Or so I’m told. :-)

Check the expiration date on the back of your detector. They have limited life and will alarm when they reach the end or when the voltage gets too low.
