propane generator to quick connection on TT

Hello,
I have a 2005 Flight 29BHS with an existing quick connection for a grill.
My question is, can I connect my propane generator to the current system and the regulator supply enough propane to run it.

according to the generator manufactor, it requires,
"The generator requires 1/2 PSI with a flow rate of 76,000 BTU/hr. under max load."

Thanks,
Chip

Google your furnace and look at the BTU’s required, probably 40,000 BTU’s or less. The furnace has one of the highest BTU requirement so keeping that in mind jumping up to 76,000 would be a huge difference in regulators.
Typically propane doesn’t provide as efficient fuel source that gasoline does, meaning although propane will work you will use far more propane than you would gasoline. Hope this helps...

My fifth wheel came factory prepped for a propane generator the line that is supplied for it is as big as the main feed to the trailer. Not sure if the quick connect will have enough flow

Mine worked fine. I have a 7500 watt that I recently setup for propane/natural/gasoline. I went with the 1/4" quick connect to match my campchef griddle. it started and ran fine. I switched on the AC and Microwave at the same time. The TT was pulling a bit under the 30 amps and the generator never missed a beat. I am not sure how it would work if any of the other propane appliances were on at the same time but it did not suck the oven pilot light out

I recently bought Champion dual fuel gen. I did the research online and it appears that the gen should work on the quick connection. DUX4LIFE confirms this. I bought two adapters and I think this is all what is needed.
