Locktite expands up to .005 which makes it a very good sealant for refrigerants. I would however NOT use it for LP gas. Teflon tape or a good pipe dope is more than enough.

It was Red Loctite! Why on earth would you use something that needs a torch on a propane system. Jayco is stupid. I looked at a video from Loctite and it needs to be 550 degrees to get it to melt and let go!

Since it’s now rounded off this won’t be much help. However when you find a tight fitting, whatever it might be, try tightening it before you try backing it out. You don’t have to tighten it much just enough to see some movement. It will back out easily after that. It’s an old pipefitters trick.

Just had the same issue. My mechanic was able to use special channel locks and got it off quickly after I worked on it for two hours!!!
