Roof Sealant for new to us 2017 28BHBE

Hello all,

We are new to the RV world, and recently acquired a new to us 28BHBE (2017). I'm trying to seal the edges of the RV where the rubber roof goes over the edge, and the gutter is mounted on. I've been unsuccessful in searching for a good thread on whether Dicor non-sag 551 is acceptable in this application due to the roofs being TPO on the newer trailers. I have found some horror stories, but nothing saying what people are using on the newer TPO roofs except for eternabond.....your thoughts? What are owners of newer rigs using? I did my best with the search bar but alas I find myself posting.

In 2016 Dicor introduced a product referred to as a two-part "Ultra Sealant" (w/Primer) designed for some of the newer TPO roofing materials.

I continue to use the standard Dicor lap sealants (non-sag & self leveling) on my TPO roof without incident, and most recently along the metal gutter/TPO roofing edge as you mentioned.

It may merit contacting Jayco (have VIN handy) confirming your TT's type of TPO
and sealant recommendation.
