RV travel maps for aluminum sided trailers?

My girlfriend thinks it's silly but I really want one of those travel progress maps we see on other RV's /trailers.
Of course the problem is our lumpy aluminum siding is no good for the sticker or magnets.

Are there any solutions?

We have ours on our refrigerator. My kids love adding states and it really just matters to us so we decided on inside.

Did you screw it on or is it the sticker type?

Ours was a clear outline of US and the States. Plastic State decals that we placed inside State outline. Had the same one on 2 different RV’s.

I have a strict NO STICKER policy for all of my vehicles. Regardless of how much I believe in something, or support something, or like something, no stickers. I find they look trashy.

Have you considered getting a new girlfriend . I know, have heard this before how significant others can agree on things that really shouldn't matter. Somethings are just fun!

We have ours on the side of our slideout. That way you only see it when the slides out and its protected from the weather most of the time. Thought I had a pic of it but the only one I had was from the opposite side of it. So I sketched an outline to show you what I mean. Don't know if you even have a slideout or not.

We installed galvanized sheet metal to put travel magnets on. It is on an interior wall.

Me too.
I even pulled the 4 x 4 stickers off my truck when it was delivered!

I purchased a 3/16” thick piece of plexiglass large enough for map. Screwed with stainless steel screws to the inside of exterior door. When door is open, it can be viewed by all.

SkyBound, I'm with you 99.99% My one exception is a magnet of "Old Glory" that is on the rear bumper of my motorhome.

I would like to know how and where the members that are on this site obtained the maps that appear on their posts. Like the one that appears in "Fryehuntr" (post #11 above). I've been unable to locat any information about them/it in the forum.

Thank you for your anticipated help,
A7thson

We also keep ours on the slideout - it's protected and flat.
