Hey all, wondering what app you all might be using to plan your trips? I did a demo on RV Wizard, looks interesting and might be of use on my laptop.
Any thoughts?
thanks, Rhody 51
I've used for longer trips RV Parky (A), Hipcamp (C+), Park Advisor (Inc), UC Public CG (Inc), and Allstays (A-) and the various government sites for Nation and State Parks, Forest Service, BLM, etc.
I guess I enjoy the research.

I think Good Sam still has a planner on the Web Site. I have used it in the past or just gotten out the maps/Internet and started planning from that. There are a number of sites that can give you info on RV places in the locations that you plan to stop or visit.
We've used RV Trip Wizard for years. Yes it is a little pricey with a subscription based service but we think it is worth the price. Good Sam PO'd me with their service when they touted the import to Rand Mcnally functions which were a bunch of crap and difficult, at best, to accomplish. Then again what does one expect from Good Sam and Camping World?

We used Roadtrippers, can break trip into segments and select which subjects you want to appear on the map. Ie: gas, hotels, sight seeing. Etc.
Cost for app, approx 30.00 dollars Canadian.

+1 RoadTrippers is awesome! IMO the most important is probably Allstays because it gives you such a good birds eye view of what can help you like "right now" then probably Trucker Path because if you need to pull over and sleep, like "right now" it can help you quickly in a way that Allstays can't. Next is probably RV Parky, again because of places to Park "right now". Then RoadTrippers because life is a Journey, and you need to pull over and smell the roses every once in a while. All the roses are in RoadTrippers!
