Screws coming through Eternabond on slide

I’ve noticed that some of the screws on my couch / dinette slide appear to be rubbing through the factory ‘Eternabond’ tape on the outer roof edge. This is on a 2018 324bhts. I could tell the same looks to be happening on the bunk slide as well. Is this a normal wear item? I am assuming they are rubbing the top seal when coming in / out. We have put over two years of nights in our TT and it doesn’t sit still for long periods of time so I can’t imagine the number of extend / retract cycles we have on the slides. Pic is of the dinette slide from above.

Not uncommon over time, and best to replace with a new application of EternaBond sealer tape before the screw heads damage the horizontal wiper seals.

Using a heated blow dryer will make removal of the old tape easier prior to checking that the screws are snug, and then clean the surface prior to applying the new EternaBond sealer tape.

I've replaced my slide sealer tape as well, and then ran a bead of Dicor Non-Sag Lap Sealant where the tape edge made contact with the back of the plastic 4" slide wall flange plate.

Also, might be a good time to grab some Aerospace 303 UV Protectant for the rubber bulb and wiper seals around the sidewall & slides, adds longevity to them.
