shower curtain

I am not sure if I should post this here. I want to install a extended shower curtain rod in my Whitehawk 28dsbh . My question is do I just screw it into the wall with some kind of drywall anchor or do try and find a stud ... if I need to find a stud will a stud finder work on a foam filled exterior wall. Then what do I do on the interior wall? Thanks again

I think you would have better luck winning the lottery than finding a stud where you need it. Would a spring rod work, they come in various sizes and would hold a shower curtain up just fine.

A hollow core door Molly would be the best bet.
