Single propane tank bracket

Does any one have a solution for the stupid way they have to hold a single 20lb tank?taking that thing off and reattaching it is asinine.i can't seem to find anything online that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.surely somebody makes one for a single tank.the only one a found was for a forklift and it was 300 bucks

This was one of the first things I fixed after getting our unit. Here is a link to a post I made in another thread regarding the propane tank support, or lack thereof:

There are a couple of links in my post that detail some different approaches as well as more discussion further down the thread.

I fabricated a tie down today.i drilled the pan on the tongue on each side of the tank then bolted a length of 5/16 threaded rod in each hole.a nut on each side of the hole.i then fashioned a length of angle with holes drilled to accept the threaded rod then put that thru the hand grips of the tank to act as a clamp.held down with wing nuts to have it convenient to detach and vice versa.i can shake the whole trailer rocking it back and forth by the tank.it is really on there.

Check this out on Amazon: Stromberg Carlson (2020JR) 20 lb. Gas Bottle Rack This what I installed on our 18 S RB. It worked great! I simply drilled two holes through this mount and the existing angle iron that the LP tanks sits on. I then bolted it on. Good Luck!
