Slideout issues

Hi
We have a 2016 whitehawk 33rsks. When we arrived at the campground and set up the sofa slideout was making thumping and banging noise when I tried to extend it. I stopped and then it would not go in or out. We pushed on it and then it finally went out but still made awful noise. It did not go out all the way but we quit working on it. Today we wanted to try and find the manual operation adjustment in case it would not go in when we leave . We cannot find where to do the manual adjustment. Can anyone help? It does not appear to have a through frame crank on either slide and I don’t see where the in frame adjustment is. The tool that came with the camper is a hex head crank. I am assuming that is what we need . The kitchen slide works fine and I do see a hole in the frame on that side but not the sofa slide side. All help will be appreciated.

Defer to your owners manual. It will have the slide type and details regarding slide options. IF you have a Schwintek slide that's stuck you have a couple options:
* If the slide is out of sync, moving it in/out 8" may resync.
* If you can find the controller, it may be flashing - which gives you the code. This will tell you where the fault is.
* You can manual override the controls by pressing 6 times then holding on the 7th time. This SHOULD allow the slide to retract.
* If no go, you will have to manually disconnect the motors (1 screw) and move it out of the way (off track) to push the slide back in. Keep in mind that there's nothing holding it in place, so you'll have to brace it with something like a 2x4 to keep it in while driving to the dealership.
Note: I did have an issue with mine once - the wire that leads to the slide motor was severed because the tire rubbed it. I had to splice the wire back to fix it.

Good Luck
