Question Stuck bolts and shower leak

Had a great weekend camping with the kids. Found two new issues while doing it. I seem to find at least one thing every time I go out.

On the way to go camping, I went to fill the propane tanks. The knobs that hold on the propane cover at the bottom appear to now be rusted or corroded to the bolts, such that the bolts simply turn with the knobs now and I cannot remove the cover.

I managed to get the propane filled with the cover just tilted out, but now I need to figure out how to fix the knobs and bolts. Suggestions? It's under warranty, so I could take it to a dealer, but as always, I'd prefer to fix it myself if I can figure how to do it.

Second, it appears the metal rim along the bottom of the shower door is not sealed to the shower floor. I never noticed water on the floor when I showered, but when the kids use it, they evidently splash a bit more, and then we get a constant drip-drip-drip out the seam between the shower and the doorframe for an hour or so.

Thankfully, I know how to fix that...

Anyway, any advice on the stuck knobs would be welcome!

It would help if you sent a picture or at least gave a model # of the camper you are talking about. Can you get at the bolt to cut it and then replace it? Maybe try some WD-40?

The model is the trailer in my signature: 2016 Eagle 284BHBE. I don't have a good picture of it, but circled the knobs with red in this stock photo:

The knobs are very tight in to the trailer. I don't think I could get a hack saw blade in there and move it back and forth without significant damage to the fiberglass.

How far are you from the dealership? I'd hate to bust something on a brand new trailer, I'd let them worry about it.

Yea, bolts in places like that should be stainless steel.

I've come to the conclusion that anything on the exterior of the trailer than can be oiled, should be oiled, probably once a month.

Door hinges, keyholes, awning nuts, etc. etc. etc.

You're probably right.

I've been fixing everything on my own because I use the trailer regular enough that I don't want it sitting at the dealer, but this one is probably a good one to warranty.

Maybe I can get them to replace the gas water heater circuit board while they're at it (long story, different thread).
