Summer storage in the southern heat/humidity

Question, do you leave any roof vents open when storing your camper in the Florida summer sun/humidity? I have a vent cover to protect from rain and am curious if there’s any science to leaving the vent open to get some air movement/heat release.

We are in SE Texas, and we know heat and humidity well.
We keep everything closed up tightly, but we do keep a few containers of damp-rid in the trailer. In May, I started noticing that they are drawing quite a bit of moisture from the air, and I'm having to replace the pellets more often. Which is fine--that's why I have it in there.
As an added bonus, I notice that the camper doesn't smell musty. It actually smells very clean when I open the door to check on things.

I leave the vent open when in storage and we’re in SW Houston. Pretty warm and humid.

South Central TX and I've always left mine open. In fact, I rarely ever close it.

Yes. Roof vent open and possibly a lower window if you have a crank out style. Neither need to be open too much, just enough to vent fresh air.

Do you have shore-power where it is stored? Is it stored in a secure location?

We have 2 roof powered vents with covers. One in the bedroom and one in the bathroom (one at each end of the TT). The 2 vents are left open with the bathroom vent operating on thermostat mode with the fan set to low, and the bedroom fan is off. The bathroom fan came on about 10AM and shut off around 8PM. Never had a mold problem and didn't smell musty. We are lucky as our TT has SOLAR and 260Ah batteries that cares for ALL the power (with plenty to spare).

Not sure what your budget is, but SOLAR would be the way to go to supply power for your fan(s).
