Sway Control

I just purchased my new Jayflight 28RLS and took our first trip. Noticed that the Sway Control indicator did not have green or red light. It looks like it is hooked up but the owners manual says it should have a green light, turning to red when experiencing a sway event. Anyone else have this issue? Any idea how to explore what might be going on? I purchased from a dealer about 2 1/2 hours away and would prefer to fix myself rather than haul it there.

You probably did not order the Sway Command. The new units are prepped for it but the Sway Command is not installed it seems
Our dealer was upfront and mentioned that it was the prep that was done and some more money was needed to make the unit operational.

The way I see it, Jayco might have a PR nightmare with folks feeling duped. They do mention Prep.. but that is a word so short it might be missed

if its not installed here is how it goes

Which also might help identify what is wrong if you do actually have it installed. Sometimes the lights are hard to see in sunlight.

No, the sway command was ordered. I special ordered the unit and paid extra for the sway control.

We had water heater that wouldn't light and we at the time were 2500 miles from the dealer.
We called them and they talked us through a fix. If you have a good dealer they ought to do the same.

Try checking the fuse for it first... Should be in the front on the frame towards the bottom... IIRC mine was a 30A fuse... Possible it could have shorted somewhere along the lines and blew the fuse... If the fuse is good, check to make sure that it's connected behind the wall... If it's connected, I'd say take it back and have them fix it.

Sway command works wonders!
