Swift 154 BH bunk mattress

My eyeballs are burning from reading old posts! Would be interested to hear what others have done with these woefully thin little gems, as overhead space is an issue. Looking forward to any ideas!

not sure what you mean...but for the bottom bunk, we put an egg crate mattress under oem mattress. for the top bunk, we use that space for
extra storage space for clothing storage, etc. wife made a curtain and put it on a curtain rod to enclose it for looks.

Thanks LBL,
We are too lazy to set up settee every night so hope to use bunks. Wondering about replacing stock cushions with 4 inches of memory foam? Thoughts on that?

sorry, no experience w/memory foam. we have the 184bh w/the "sofa", wife usually sleeps on the bottom bunk and I sleep on the sofa. I am not a very
big fella so it's comfortable by removing the back cushions. it's just too much trouble taking down and setting up the dining table. besides, it's a good catch all for tossing stuff on...

Likewise, ours is also the catch all! Happy camping, LBL.

We've also got the 184BH. Our two boys use the bunks so the wife and I have to use the table/bed. I have an air mattress to try on our next trip. It doesn't take up anymore room than a sleeping bag when not in use.

Mike, you posted at 0438 hrs....I didn't know there was such an hour. I thought the morning started around 0700.
Hope all is well up there. My daughter says that more snow is predicted in that area....burrrrrr! Stay warm and safe!

When you work overnight shift 0438 does exist. Its a good number cause you're in to the final hour. I love the cold and the snow so you'll never hear me complain. I believe I am part Eskimo or penguin or polar bear or maybe even Yeti.

We use memory foam on the dinette. You could easily cut a piece of memory foam to fit the bunks. We only use the table in ours if it is raining or we need eat indoors for some reason. 99% of the time our dinette is a bed.
