Just heard a woman laughing hysterically while walking the Dogs.
Made me happy to hear it.

While camping last year, my wife and I kept hearing this one. To us, it sounded like the sound you get when you lose at one of those old time video games.
We finally identified it as a Veery.

Rain on the roof. Over the years, we've camped in tents, VW buses, pop-ups, and now the TT, and we love the sound of rain on all of them. (We live in Arizona, so the sound of rain is pretty much always welcome.)

I have ro agree, even though I don't like rain I enjoy listening to it while I am warm and dry in my trailer or tent.

X2 on the smell of coffee and add bacon frying on the Colemen stove.

I just remembered a sound from my youth that I always associated with camping and leisure time. Does anyone remember those lounge chairs you could get that would click as you adjusted them? Yeah, that sound. The ratcheting sound of one of those chairs always meant we were camping, or fishing, or beach bumming. I can't believe I just thought of that! Brings back some fond memories!

For me its the sound of the quiet, early in the morning during that first cup of joe by the fire.
