Tires for X17Z

Hi
We love our Jay Feather X17Z but every time we hit the road i feel that the axle and tires are just a little flimsy and should be stronger.

Can i put bigger, thicker tires on the X17Z? Something like they have on the new Jayco JaySport popups?

Or would that men i would have to "lift" the camper?

Thansk

Are you running the tires at max PSI as listed on the sidewall, if running to low of a PSI you will get that flimsy feel you talk about. You may be able to go up one load range which will run at a higher pressure and have a stiffer sidewall. Maybe take your spare tire to a local tire store and ask what they think will work, they will have to verify if a higher pressure tire will work on your wheel.

I have a 17a and considered going to 14” from13” but the wheel well clearance was too tight. So went to a higher weight rated 13”.
