Trailer backup camera

I have a 27dsrl that I am thinking about attaching this camera (https://camera-source.com/2017-super...ailer-cam.html) to and running it to my truck. I am looking for ideas on where to mount it. I do not need power but I will need to run the cable from the back of the trailer to the spare tire position under the back of my truck. I would like to mount it on the trailer but I am afraid if I drill into the trailer to mount it that if there is a leak then the factory will not warrant6 the leak. And of course this is the smooth sidewalk trailer that Jayco said (about my previous trailer) that if there was not something mounted already that there was not a backer plate in the wall but just the styrofoam insulation. Even if I permanently mounted it I still need a way to unobtrusively hide the cable

You must have seen a YouTube video from big truck big RV!

If you mounted the camera up high enough, you should be able to drill into something solid. Then you could run the wire along the top edge of the roof to the side of the trailer and down the side edge. The wire can be hidden under the plastic strip that hides the screws that fasten the aluminum corner trim.

Great idea. I didn't know these were available. FYI if you have the 360 camera system ford offers a factory accessory camera for trailers also.

I don't have the 360 Camera, but the same company makes one for the trucks that just have the factory back up camera/not the 360. I am ordering. Did you order this kit and install yet?
