winterizing

we have a 2013 whitehawk. it is supposed to be 32 degrees here sat morning i have not put the pink in it yet. do you think i should go ahead and winterize it we are not through camping yet.

Winterize or turn on your heater and set it low. Antifreeze is cheaper than the stuff that breaks when things freeze. As an alternative (if you have a descent size air compressor) go buy the blow out plug and purge the lines.

32F (0C) -is- the freezing point of water.

Personally, I wouldn't be making any bets with my trailer against Mother Nature at this time of year - WAAAY above my pay grade…

32F for a few hours won't hurt anything. But when we lived in the Rockies those predictions often became 20. Just winterize. And sleep well.

If you have an air compressor as mentioned, you could probably just blow the lines out and be on. But it’s your call. And possibly turn the heat on as well. I have blown the lines out when all of a sudden it’s suppose to hit freezing, if not lower and everything has been fine.

As for the size compressor, I actually used my pancake compressor this year. Did just fine, as I still need to hook up my 60g Kobalt.
