1997 8ft sportsman

Hi, new to the forum. Just picked up a 1997 8ft sportsman. I’m completely new to campers in general so I’m struggling a little bit… Anyways I boondock a lot and am having a hard time figuring out how my camper will or can run off of batteries. It has the option for 12v on the converter but I don’t see a place to hook up batteries or plug in anything except shore power. I’m really just looking to be able to run the heater blower sometimes at night. It still gets pretty chilly up here in Alaska. Thanks and if this has been answered could you point me in the right direction. I don’t have the original owners manual sadly so it’s been a little difficult to figure out.

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State!

Put a bunch of paper and ink in your printer, and you can print off the manual here. It'll cover more than one model of your truck camper. Enjoy!

Thank you . I will see if this helps me. Is there a section that can help with just the wiring aspect of these campers?

You're welcome.

I'm not sure. I didn't read it through. Usually wiring isn't shown as a schematic in manuals, since they cover a few models, and are not really comprehensive like that.
