2016 Jayco 1209SC Roof Weather Stripping

The weather stripping has come off the outside roof. Its a long gray rubber strip that fits up in the gap under the lip of the roof. I suppose it is what makes a tighter seal when the roof is put down. Anyone had any luck putting it back up? Any technique you would be willing to share? Not having much luck.

Thanks!

Is it from under the trim that covers the joints?

Its the weather stripping roof seal that goes around the outside and creates a seal when the camper is closed. Guess it is also called a roof gasket seal. Its falling down on 2 sides. I have tried to thread it back up in there, but it doesn't want to stay.

Have you tried to seal (Outdoors caulking) the end of it after threading it back up in there?

A picture would help.

Here are the pics. There is a portion of the rubber that fits up in the groove. I haven't had any luck getting it to reattach and stay up.
